Hey guys! Thanks! Yes we have an x-pen that we use everyday. We have one part of the loft blocked off so they don't have free range of the whole space, then when we leave we'll probably make that space slightly smaller. He is very clingy and i have been working on ignoring him more of the time and then giving him positive attention as apposed to picking him up and cuddling. It's possible i could work something out with one of my neighbors to see if they could come in and throw a ball around with them for a few minutes. You guys have been so helpful! I guess each dog is different and i'm sure if i do what you say, get him used to being alone for long periods of time, eventually he'll be okay. |
