Actually a liver problem won't show up in a regular blood screening until there is significant damage to his liver. I would have him bile acid tested to be on the safe side and the results of that will determine if more testing is required. Yorkies are 36 times more likely have liver shunt than any other breed and one of the biggest symptoms is seizures.
