my mother bred shelties for years..she knows a lot of breeders, i checked with her again tonight and she stated that years ago that was a sheltie band on pauleys pups..that a huge lot of breeders signed some documents against selling to pauleys..we have gone in several times to see how the appearences are holding up at pauleys..once we were there and they had a sheltie..and a call was placed. i dont live far and the last time i was there i had to but on a apron and gloves..its great they are being caution but i was totally put off by it..i have visited many times and it only gets worse and worse..its very impersonal as well...the dogs feet are COVERED in urnine..runny eyes and noses..only about 1-2 per cage look purebred and well cared for...
i my self perfer going to a breeders home, seeing the area, the parents, the paperwork, the temperments, and you can see more of the puppies personalities..since they are running in familiar home..i like the eye contract of the breeder and personal experience you get with a breeder who is avaliable when needed not just business hours |
