My 9-month old puppy Teddy had a seizure. My husband had taken him to the vet this evening for a nail trim. Apparently, he was not unusually stressed during the nail trim but when my husband went to leave, he noticed something wrong with Teddy's leg - it was trembling and wobbly and then it progressed to his whole body. They rushed him in the back and gave him valium and said he was having a seizure. I had them run blood work in house all of which was normal. Teddy is back home but he is a little loopy from the valium. We are keeping him away from the other dogs and he is quiet in his crate.

I'm very upset about this and don't know what my next steps should be. Do I pursue a cause, or is this a wait-and-see type of issue? I could take him to specialists but am not sure that it would produce anything.
