They are puppy brokers, and in my opinion the lowest of the low. Don't depend upon celebrities to give you good information on where to buy a pet, many of them are no more informed than the average person, and they believe that if they pay top dollar you will get a good pet from reputable breeder. Reputable breeders always want to interview the puppy purchaser, they don't want to sell a dog that might not be a suitable match, they are as picky as a rescue is when it comes to placing dogs, and they would never sell to a broker. Commercial breeders, and those who breed for profit will sell to brokers, and just about anyone else with the money, they often "pretend" to be picky, and their breeding dogs are often kept in deplorable conditions. |
