I had no idea what Miley or her parents weighed when i went to get her..It wasn't til i brought her home and weighed her that I knew she was wayyy small..I weight her everyday to make sure she gains..i did it wiht my chi til he got older..now i do every once in awhile justto see if he is the same or lost or gained ect..
I see nothing wrong with shooting for a certain size as long as it is within the standard..Thats what a standard is set for and thats what makes a yorkie a yorkie along with other things..
What I hate to see is people wanting to buy dogs like say a beagle..(couldn't think of anything else lol) and want to find a breeder that sells beagles hat are 2 pounds when they are supposed to be what 15 (I don't have any idea what they ae supposed to way lol) anyway see what im getting at.
If she wants a yorkie that is around 4 pounds it is still within the standard size for a yorkie and I see nothing wrong with it..it's her preference..
BUT.......Star if you are really set on a smaller one then I'd wait til you got your lil guy home and adjusted before you get another..and I'd make sure you do plenty of research and prepare yourself..cause the smaller ones can have issues..but then again so can the bigger ones..just educate yourself..

One last thing..very important..wait til pup is 12 weeks before you bring home..I learnt that lesson the hard way and it almost cost miley her life because of my stupidity..
