I agree with you.. its basicly constent suppervision. If dont suppervise then you can crate him but you should be able to supervise most of the day when you are home. If you have a new born baby don't you watch them most of the time other then them sleeping in their bed. There is no diff for a puppy they are just like babies need constent supervision.
