Keep an eye on it...My Moms cat did the same ting to peanut! I got some ointment and also some eye drops..it cleared in about 4 days with no problem..
Cats nails are very very dirty..just keep a watch on his eye make sure it is not getting infected..and also my Mom's cat got him right under his eye..like under the eye lid and the Dr did a eye fluorescent stain to make sure the cat didnt nick his eye!!
