I don't know why people would think he isn't yorkie!! He looks all yorkie to me...
Alot of people are not educated on this breed and only know what they hear. Maybe because he doesn't fit in your shirt pocket and weigh 2 lbs they think he isn't full bred. I just ignore these people...I have 2 yorkie girls that I KNOW are full yorkie yet they look very different...sometimes people will ask what breed Sadie is cause she doesn't look like Lillie...I tell them she is yorkie and they all look different..just because she doesn't have the full beautiful coat that hangs to the floor like Lillie doesn't mean she's not yorkie...dogs are like people...we don't all look alike either. this usually gets them to shut their mouths~
