OH MY GOSH MY ALLERGIES ARE TERRIBLE!! I've had allergy shots for 5 years with no relief and then my allergist gave up on me so I went to a new one and he tried allergy "drops" a new treatment like shots except you put them under your tongue (not yet approved by the FDA yet) and that just made my throat swell up, so they kept lowering and lowering the dose and finally this doctor gave up on me too so now I just take a low dose steriod (and gain like 20 lbs) during ragweed season here in Missouri so I can step outside without dying. I am deathly allergic to ragweed. When they did my arm testing with that little teeny tiny drop of ragweed I went into anaphylactic shock (luckily I was at the dr's office!) Ragweed just started here in MO and I already have my first sinus and ear infection. Man, sorry for the rant, but when it comes to allergies I have something to rant about!
I need to move to AZ, no ragweed there!
