You can NEVER tell what size a puppy will be. I've heard of 14 lb yorkies coming from 6 lb parents. and 3 lbers coming from 10 lb parents. It all depends and it's a waiting game. The bigger the Yorkie 5-7 lbs the BETTER, little tiny ones are very hard to care for can have recurring episodes of hypoglycemia all their lives and are more prone to injuries because of their small size. Also some have liver shunt and other health problems.
A reputable Yorkie breeder will not sell a Yorkie at younger than 12 weeks and you shouldn't want on younger. They should be with their mom for 12 weeks for bonding and socialization skills.
If the boy is your first baby, please wait until you get him to see what it will be like. I know when I first got Gucci I immediately wanted another. Now almost a year later, not so much in a hurry. He has cost me a small fortune in vet bills because he has such a sensitive tummy and we've bonded so much I couldn't see my life without him, and I wouldn't change my life with him. However I can tell you.. I have had many sleepless nights, a lot of worry and a lot of days taken by playing FETCH
Hope this helps
