On this weekend, Henrico/Richmond, VA is hosting the Humane Society's Bark in the Park. I thought this would be a perfect event for all of us to get together at. It's in one of my most favorite parks here in Richmond. Here is the description off the website.
The Henrico Division of Recreation and Parks is teaming up with the Henrico Humane Society to offer the third Annual Bark in the Park. Bring your best furry friend and enjoy a day of fun-filled family activities. Activities include an expo of local pet vendors, products, and services, a pet costume contest, children’s activities, and more! The event will begin with a 2K for Paws Walk. There is a $25 registration fee for the 2K for Paws Walk. Info: 501-5121.
I believe there will be food booths as well, I am going to call to check for sure, so we can either have lunch there at the park or I will plan somewhere for lunch.
I am really excited about this, as well as excited to meet everyone!
I hope we can have a great turn out for this. Please let me know if you are coming so that I can get a head count and so that I can make further plans for time and place to all meet.
