Yes, your correct, at 6 weeks, the first shot did not do any good . Because at that age the puppy still may have had immunity from it's mother . My vet has told me the same thing, therefor we started over on the vaccines , with both puppies. The Rabies vaccine is not to be administered until at least 4 months of age.
