Not at all. As excited as you are right now, you will have a long time in the future to spend with your magnificent new pup. This woman is taking care of her ill mother and you never know, she may be in her last days. Give her the benefit of the doubt. Having to take care of an ill parent is one of the most stressful ordeal's we'll have to go through in life.

Your day is coming (to be with your new babies), so try to walk in this woman's shoes for now. Hey...maybe you could even offer to help her with errands or feeding the pups or something that would lighten her load. That way, you could even catch a glimpse of your little one.
