I've recently come upon this site and it looks like a great way to talk about yorkies. I have recently adopted a 3-year-old male yorkie, who was supposed to have been housebroken. However, he is going all over the place and poops whereever. Most of the tips I have read about are for puppies...do the same tips apply to older dogs. I know they probably have their own set ways and I probably need to re-train. I don't use a crate or puppy pads, although have tried newspaper (didn't work). I try and take him out frequently during the day (I work at home).

Also, he attacks my other dog (a female shizapoo). He is neutered, by the way. He seems to attack her after I've scolded him for one reason or another. Also, he hates things taken away from him that he shouldn't have. He bites and growls when doing this. Any suggestions?
