We fed him that for about 4 days & he has been cleared up for over a week. He loved it...crammed his little face in the bowl every meal!
Phew, the little guy is almost 13 & every time he coughs or sneezes & worry.
white rice is better as brown rice is high in fiber which can make situation worse for some with colitis and brown rice has to be cooked for 20 min longer than for humans. It has the hulls still on it so very fibrous so white rice is better when having digestive upset - i learned the hard way as did brown rice with chicken and it went straight through her so when a dog is having inflamed bowels from colitis it can make it worse as the body cannot digest it it just goes straight through as dd had the largest poops ever on chicken and brown rice and it came out whole the other end
