My Yorkie is just in his cage asleep when im at school.
My mom is at home most of the time when im in school, but he is also often alone 4-5 hours when im at school and he just goes to sleep.
He first barks a litle, but when he sees that im not coming to him and taking him out of the cage, he stops barking.
