I feed Rosco boiled chicken quite often and he still has the mucusy poops and his breath really stinks. When he was on the meds. his breath was much better so whatever it is affects his breath. He eats good and is very active. If it wasn't for the nasty poops you won't think there is anything wrong with him. Yes, they have done a fecal. The vet says there is alot of bacteria which is causing his GI to be inflammed. I don't want him to be on meds the rest of his life. I just wish I knew what is causing GI to be inflammed??????????
