Some people just do an inverted "V" cut.
The top of the "V" could probably go up a llittle further than what is shown in picture. Hair on nose under eye should be brushed down to be part of mustache.
I used a baby scissors with rounded tip, when I first started grooming. I held the side/chin hair firmly with one hand, so he could make no sudden movements.
