Well, I took him to the vet today for his shots and asked her about it. (The vet I like was not there) She told me that it was not a food allergy because those usually start on their face and paws. She said it was probably just an allergy to something else and that he could have a steroid shot but that it could not be given at the same time as his rabies shot. I really think it is the food because that is the only thing that has changed. He is itching all over, his head, back, stomach. I have not seen him chewing on his feet or anything. I just feel so bad for him. I am going to continue with the benadry and try another brand of food.
