Rainbow dogs is a great description as they tend to change a great deal during those first 3 years. I have seen dark faced biewers gold out as they mature and I've seen others who stay dark. I haven't ever seen one with a black tail though. My Reggie's saddle has remained black and his coat is more soft than silk. Frazier on the other hand is turning blue and has a silk coat.
