It's unacceptable behavior. You need to deter it. Everytime he bites you need to issue a loud ouch and move him away. I don't know how old your dog is but, if a pup, he's teething. Offer him something to chew...but, when he begins biting on your Lab or you, you need to offer gentle but firm discipline.
