Is the deer full grown? Or is she like a wild animal rehabilitator? I'd really like to know where she got the deer from and where she lives. I know the animal control director in Williamsburg and will gladly have her or her counter parts in your area, looked into her for violations and cruelty, as the other dogs and cats are suffering too. Just let me know and she's a phone call away.
That said now I can say, I am so glad that you have Lexi in a safe, loving and healthy home. I agree with all the others, I'd never cut off the tail after the first few days of life, too painful. I'd love to see photos of her! You don't see Yorkies with their tails long very often at all, so you can proudly tell others how very special and different she is
