Mufassa and Kodiak are extremely bonded and it would be best if they could go together to their new home. Their adoption fee is a combined fee of $300.00 to get them neutered and current on all shots. Mufasa was born on November 4, 2004. From the beginning he was very spunky and outgoing. He loves to play fetch and run around the house with Kodiak behind him. Mufasa loves walks and car rides. He loves to be petted and scratch and especially loves to have behind his ears scratched. He loves stuffed animal and bones that are too big for him. Mufasa loves to be outside and can often be found basking in the sun. He loves to check things out, roll in things and explore. In the winter Mufasa loves to sit right by the heat vents and let the warm air hit him in the face. Mufasa did start having seizures at about four months old, and now requires Phenobarbital. Seizures are triggered usually by excitement and use of lots of energy. For example when he plays with other dogs, this can be controlled with the medication. He is nervous around younger children. Kodiak was born on January 13, 2005. He is very timid and shy. He tends to be nervous around new surroundings and people until he gets to know them. Once he is comfortable he is very sweet and loving. He is content to just sit by you. He loves affection and will show you his appreciation by licking you. Every once in a while he gets a wild hair and loves to chase Mufasa around barking at him. Sometimes he plays with his food before he will eat it. He will throw it up and paw at it then he will eat it. He can be found sometimes with a stuffed toy or a bone, but does not love them as much as Mufasa. Kodiak very much loves Mufasa and is comfortable around him and relies on him for security. He is initially nervous around younger children.
