I live in Houston and my baby boy did the same thing a few weeks ago. I called the Emergency Hospital and they said the frogs we had around here were not usually poisonous. They also told me that when the frog is bitten by the dog or taken into it's mouth, it emits something that causes the dog's mouth to foam. They said to get him to drink some water and watch him; if he started to vomit or have any respiratory distress to bring him in. He was fine within an hour. I'm not sure what kind of frogs you have in your area. Sounds like you did exactly what you are supposed to do. Good luck!
