Personally - I would just get it done sooner rather than later. I'm a "get it over with" kind of person though! I don't think it's going to make ANY difference whether you spay now or at a year old. Might as well get those yucky baby teeth now to prevent bad breath problems and get the recoup out of the way. I've known a LOT of dogs in my lifetime -- most all of those who were spayed/neutered before a year old and there are no issues or problems. It's all a matter of personal preference. I definitely would do the teeth removal/neuter at the same time though, not separate times.
