Hello again! Lately we have been talking about Smokie's seperation anxiety. Well, until today, he would not even go out in the yard alone. We have a nice deck with a small, but perfect for Smokie sized chain link yard with lots of shade. Today for the first time, Smokie went outside alone and stayed outside content, rolling in the grass, playing with his toys, was laying in a nice cool spot in the shade.....he was easily outside on his own for an hour. I was so impressed and gave him lots of praise and a treat or two. This was a huge step towards his security. Before I would try, but no way, if I wasn't coming with he wasn't going.
