Default Arghhh! This is not happening..

I was so embarrased to post this, I've waited the whole week but thought it might be good info. I took my Mini-Bull Terrier Ginger to the vet this week, she has had a rash on her neck for some time, she has had it before in the summer and we and my last vet thought it was hot spots or allergies. Low and behold (here we go) through my new vet, it is MANGE, OMG I couldn't believe it and started asking what about my 9mo puppy who loves to lick her sister. Okay, not transfereable, possibly curable but very difficult. Did my research and the vet assured me she was born with it and I respond you mean she's been walking around with this for 7 years? Apparently it is transferable from the mother (now I'm thinking great breeder?), it also says DO NOT BREED THESE DOGS... And I am thankful she never wanted too, though we tried, I finally got my son to let us fix her last year.
So we have weeks of dips ahead of us and every time I see Shayna licking her sister I cringe and try to stop it. Not sure I trust the non-transferrable. I feel so bad for Ginger, she's looking better, but now I feel oggy petting her. I know, bad mom.
Oh... on a side note, I have always been allergic to Ginger (never any other dog) and I get hives when we have skin contact, so I asked the vet if he thought that is what I'm allergic too, and thought probably (they are paracites). If I can clear this up maybe I can finally hold her and not have hives (that's why I got Shayna so I could cuddle a dog and not get hives)....
Oh and this is my week, Shayna became a woman (so I'm chasing her around with diapers), I just finished my husbands custody battle for his son and we won, I started teaching again and this... I'm exausted...
So now I've posted my story, go ahead and hit me...
