Glad she is okay. What did the vet have to say about giving her the Nutrical everyday? It is my understanding that they should NOT get Nutrical on a regular basis, especially after they are 12 weeks old & over 2 pounds. I always have Nutrical on hand but only use it if I feel there is a need. A puppy that seems weak (and I am talking puppies I am raising under 12 weeks old), a dog that might be sick and not eating right, something like that. I would not just give it to a healthy weight puppy every day. Too much Nutrical can cause problems too. I have read it can cause diabetes -- nto sure but I have seen that posted. I give a disclaimer on that one as I don't have a good reference to pass on to you. But I would discuss the everyday use of Nurical and see if the vet sees a problem with that. I worry that the puppy's system may start to rely on that and not let its own system work as it should.
Sometimes they seem to be picky eaters, but a Yorkie puppy really does not eat much. Just make sure what they do eat is a great quality food. They can prefer the Nutrical and then not want to eat the much less sugary food. Remember Nutrical is basically sugar.
