Ah, I just came across this post too. I am saying many prayers today for your little Bindi! I just know you are in the right place and things will be find once the surgery is over.
On your other note, so sorry you went through all that with you vet. This just goes to show that it's okay to doubt a vet. Not all of them are bad and unknowledgeable but not all of them are good and knowledgeable either!
