That is really good advice for those with cars with the panic buttons. Both of our cars don't.

I read a really good email once about what to do in different situations if you were to ever get abducted or whatever. For instance, if someone gets in the car with you and tells you to drive, put the pedal to the metal and run your car into something, then when you hit it, open the door and run for your life. Or if you are locked in the trunk, kick out the back lights and start waving your hand out of the hole.
