as for the car unlock thing, i tried it, didn't work, but i've heard several people say that it does, i googled and got the snopes as well, but other googles say that they have tried and with particular cars, keys and phones it actually does work, so i guess it can work, just not on all models and all phones...

my dad has a 99 ponitac grand am and he could press a button on his cell and here the "beep beep" of the alarm.
