So sad.... it reminds me of years ago when I hit a dog myself. He just bolted out in front of me and there was nothing I could do! I stopped immediately and the owner came out and was saying something like dumb dog. The poor things was obviously dead and the owner just picked him up by the collar and carried him back towards their property. It just broke my heart and I cried all the way to work but especially because he deserved to have someone grieve for him and it seemed that no one cared.
