Use your fingers like a mouth, nip him in the neck and make a snapping sound like the mother would do. Then put him aside and walk away. If he yelps it is a good thing, it does not mean that you hurt him, but will show that he got the message.

This has to be done instantly. Do not push him away, that just makes a game of it. Everyone in the house needs to know to do this.

I have watched my mother dogs do this with their puppies and the puppies learn very quickly.
