Not much.....you just keep washing, when she makes a mess. I have a lil girl that is due to whelp soon, I put her in the whelping area last night. She pooped on her cozy cuddler, she's never done that.....I just gently picked her up, put her in her bed and pulled out the cozy cuddler and washed it. Those things will straighten themselves out when she whelps and things are back to normal.
