My birthday is in Sept. so my plan is to say....All I want is a puppy (I've been saying this for a year). I've been married since the mountains rose out of the sea so it will be a shame to trade him in for a puppy but girlllllllllllllllll, I've already PAID for the puppy!
I talked to the breeder and she uses a 24" x 18" wire crate with a pull-out pan for easy cleaning. She puts a wee wee pad in there along with the food in a stainless steel bowl that attaches to the crate, towels for snuggling, a toy, and a doggie water bottle. I plan to use this instead of a play pen since that's what the puppy is use to using. She did warn me that the puppy will more than likely shred the wee wee pad. That will be interesting. I've read here that a crate can be used for the Yorkies safe haven and for keeping the puppy in to keep her out of trouble. I'm looking forward to it.
