Have you tried it? I also live in a condo on the second floor and if I click
my remote my car will open so I am sure the alarm will also go off.
My neighbor lives behind me and has no access to windows that face
the parking area and when his little girl plays with his keys his alarm goes
off and i have to knock on his door to tell him because he dosen't hear it.
Try it you might be surprised.
