Are your steps usually out of your sight when he poops there? I had similar problems - Bailey would pee on the pads, but then he'd go and poop on my carpet! My vet said they like privacy to poop, so I created an area where he can do it "privately" but on a puppy pad! It's worked for me! ~Kelley |
