 back to back breeding
I had a beautiful litter of 5 healthy pups april the 1st they have all gone to excellent homes. I decided one litter would be enough so i have booked my male dog to be spayed i booked at the vets 13 days ago and his operation is tommorrow. 2 days ago my dogs where tied, i have since kept them apart however my son let them both in the garden and they where tied again. I am concerned of the risk to her body i think it will be too much for another pregnancy so soon. I thought that since she had her pups in april it would be 6 months from that date for her season, however it must go from the 27th jan which was when she was pregnant last time, let this be a lesson for others reading this if someone can learn from my mistake. I just hope my little girl be ok and i will speak with the vet tomorrow to see what she can suggest. |
