I have a three year old female who leaks from time to time. She even does this while she is sleeping, so I took her to the vet. After trying with needles to retrieve urine (walks failed), they gave up and gave me the material to collect at a later time. Anyway, the vet said she wanted to rule out UTI and kidney issues but thinks she might have female incontinence (sp?). She said sometimes after spays the estrogen gets low and the muscle loses its ability to hold firm and they leak. I wonder if anyone has experienced this and if medication has helped.
