I took Jackson to the vet today and she's pretty positive he has kennel cough.
She gave me some antibiotics to give him for 2 weeks that will hopefully clear it up.
He's been gagging and coughing for 5 days now. I was away in NYC for 4 days
and came back and my dad told me he had been doing this a lot. So, I took
him in and she's 99% sure it's NOT tracheal collapse, thank God. Originally, I just
thought he maybe had something in his throat.
He was up from 4-5am coughing/gagging this morning. I felt so bad for him (and I'm tired as can be!)
Anyone else ever dealt with kennel cough?
