I think as long as she's eating regularly throughout the day, she'll be fine! Missy had troubles with hypoglycemia and she didn't need to eat at night. She always slept right through (in my bed beside me). She didn't even have to get up to go pee. If you are going to crate her, I've always liked the idea of an ex-pen better. Then she would have everything accessible to her if she needs it.
