Thank you Barb. I put Roxie into her whelping kennel before I left for class this evening. I added her doggy bed so she'd be more comfortable, and a pee-pad. When I got home, I gave the kennel a once-over and I noticed that she didn't use the pee-pad, but peed a few times on the heating pad cover, instead. (Hah) But there was also a spot of bloody discharge? About the size of a nickel. It looked mucousy with red tinges in it. Is this normal?? I've never seen anything but clear discharge from her.
Her belly feels merely warm now, compared to the super hot she's been.. I'm going to try to relax her and take her temperature. It will really put my mind at ease. I hope she doesn't put up a huge fight like she has in the past! I'll be back with the temp if I'm successful...
