The books are amazing and I was soooooooooooo reluctant to read them. I am not into vampire stuff or any sci fi stuff for that matter.... but then everyone at work started reading the books and I was really annoyed but I felt left out so I borrowed one to read.. I read the whole book the same day. And I was hooked..... LOL they are really good. I never in a million years thought I would say that my favorite books were about vampires..... But yep.... they are. Read like 5 chapters of the first book and you MAY change your mind
second book was my least fav.
I do agree with you about the cast. I dont want to watch the movie.... I like to just read the books or watch the movie. Never both. But the cast looks not at all like I pictured. And im not loving all the stupid tabloid stuff about them.
