but lots of people use them and like them for bedtime so feel free to do whatever you choose, i don't want to ever force anyone to do something, just thought i'd offer up some of what i've read about them....

good luck in whatever method you try!!!

if belly bands aren't diapers like the female versions, then forget what i said about the wetting themselves, i researched them more, looks like the hold the dogs potty parts so they can't wet rather than diapering him your dog actually might be marking his territory, that's probably why he pees so much, i forgot all about that possibilitly.

is he neutered?? if not and he's 5 yrs. or 5 months it's possible he is marking
Belly Bands are used for males that are not neutered, to keep them from marking in the house. I, like most of everyone else does, takes them off while they are outside and in the crate. I do not use them as diapers, strictly for marking in the house. My males do know to potty outside.

Another cleaner, I use for inbetween shampooing is Spot Shot. I works great and no scrubbing required! I have no pee pee smell in my house. Spot Shot is at Wal-Mart for about $4.00 a bottle. If you have a Sam's Club, you can get a 3 pack for about $7.00. It is a miracle cleaner IMO!
