I know your pain. I went to a local flea market here in KY, the first thing I saw?
A lady selling lab puppies - one of the guys who walked past me, his puppy didn't even have its eyes open! She was also complaining about how she didn't AKC register them because people won't pay that kind of money for puppies.
It got worse when I went inside to the indoor sellers - two more merchants selling puppies. All tiny, very young and very dirty.
Some people just see money in breeding.
