This may not be the answer you want, but I want to tell you my experience...I was, totally, unable to housebreak Apple, even using Nature's Miracle, and other products...After I ripped up the carpet, and put laminate down (most inexpensive one I could find), Apple was housebroken in about a week or ten days...I'm sure other ppl have had success w/carpet, but I don't think you can really get to the pad, and those noses can smell a millimeter spot of urine...It's like the old stains/smells are enticing them to go there...Good luck, but if you are in a position to change the carpet out, I'd do it...I still have carpet in the bedrooms and hallway, but I have that part of the house gated off so Apple can't go there...Maybe when she's older, and I'm absolutely, positively sure she won't go on the carpet, I'll open the rest of the house up to her...All the best to You!!!
