how old is the puppy? they say they can hold it one hour for every month they are alive...i don't always go by that because Sadie held it all night her first night and she held it all day her first day at home...now she goes once in the night and she uses a pee pad in the daytime, but i know she CAN hold it.
i'm sure that he will hold it while sleeping and then he'll probably wake up sometime in the night and want to be let out to pee.
