Yes, firmly tell him "no bites", when he nips you, whether it's friendly fire or not...And if he doesn't stop, then walk out of the room...He'll get it pretty quickly...About the hyper... all I can tell you is walks, walks, walks...I have to walk Apple 30 minutes in the a.m. and 30 minutes in the evening to get the fire out of her...Then she's got "that" out of her, and ready to settle down, chew toys, etc...I will tell you, from my experience, petting her didn't come too easily w/Apple...It's almost like "she" had to develop trust and love in me, first...She's 9 1/2 months old now, and only in the last month or so, will she let me just love on her and pet her, and then that's after the walks, not before lol...Just give it time, discipline, and patience, and it'll all come together...
