I'm not sure about the cheese; calcium should NOT be supplemented to a pregnant female, but only after she has had the pups. If you supplement them with calcium while they are PG, it will trick her body into thinking it does not have to make it on it's own & could bring on eclampsia. Put her on puppy food from now until she is finished weaning the pups. Good luck to you and Maggie...........when is she due? |
